I have to share how I discovered fennel oil "tea"! Today I polished off the last bowl of one of our family's favorite soups, White Bean & Kale Soup (I add lemon oil - you need to try it!). I ate most of the entire pot of soup within a couple of days since David left for Jackson and I didn't give him much to take with him.... oops! Well, as you might imagine after the large amount of beans consumed in a short timeframe, I started noticing some digestive disruption. Beans don't normally affect me, but this was some serious discomfort!
I avoided the usual “food coma” and digestive discomfort again this year despite eating (over-eating actually) all of the traditional Thanksgiving Day favorites. I’m usually very picky about what I eat, and I rarely eat meat or “comfort foods” such as dressing, creamed corn, potato salad, candied sweet potatoes, etc….., because I know those foods are not the best for my body and don’t agree with me because I don’t easily digest them. But on Thanksgiving Day, I set aside my “cleaner” eating habits and indulge in all of my favorites, because I have two secret weapons - doTERRA’s DigestZen TerraZyme Digestive Enzyme Complex and doTERRA’s DigestZen Softgels.
